Public Computers

The library has computers available for public use. Please note the following guidelines:

  • Computer use will be limited to 40-minute sessions.
  • Printing from public computers is available. Notify a staff member after printing and they will release the pages and collect money. Printing is still $.15 for black and white and $.25 for color.

Wireless Internet

The Library provides free wireless internet (Furness Free Wifi) for use inside and outside the Library. No password is required for access.

Chromebooks

If you would like to check your email, read the news, or do some quick research, stop by the library and checkout a chromebook. We have mobile hotspots available to borrow as well. Chromebooks are available to borrow for 7 days.

Instead of Windows 10 or Mac OS X, Chromebooks run Google’s Chrome OS, Google’s operating system. While Chromebooks do not have the Microsoft Office Suite and other software, they are mostly great for accessing the internet to check your email, browse websites, and watch videos. You can also create documents through Google Drive using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
