Delco Gives Returns on May 5, 2027

Delco Gives is Delaware County’s largest celebration of generosity, a county-wide giving movement hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County that brings neighbors together to support the nonprofits strengthening our community. In just three years, it has helped raise nearly $7 million for hundreds of local organizations.

Delco Gives is more than a day online. In the week leading up to May 5, the Foundation and participating nonprofits host events across the county. Food Truck Friday is our Delco Gives event on Friday, April 30, 2027, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Last Year’s Impact

Thanks to 527 donors, the library raised $82,841 during Delco Gives 2026. That put us 7th in the county for most raised and 4th for most unique donors among hundreds of participating nonprofits. Help us do even more on May 5, 2027.

Why Your Gift Goes Further

Thanks to Delco Gives sponsors, every participating nonprofit has a chance at extra funding. After the event, bonus funds are shared among nonprofits based on how many unique donors each one receives, no matter the size of the gift. That means every gift to the library helps, whether it’s $10 or $500.

When to Give

Gifts made from April 1 through Delco Gives Day (May 5, 2027) count. Any gift to the library in that window that is noted as Delco Gives, including checks, cash, and gifts made in person, counts toward our Delco Gives total and helps us earn bonus funds.
