Usually, ILL is a free service. However, certain materials may only be available from libraries who charge a fee. In these rare cases, you will be asked if you are willing to pay the fee before the request is processed.

Overdue ILLs are assessed a 50¢ per day late fee.

How long does ILL take?

The average arrival time after a request is placed is 7-14 days, although it can take longer for hard to get items.

What types of items can be requested through ILL?

  • New publications
  • Current bestsellers
  • New DVDs
  • eBooks
  • Antiques / rare books
